Dr. Christopher Watson is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with several years of training and experience in neuropsychological assessment, personality assessment, and psychotherapy. Dr. Watson specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of childhood and adolescent disorders. On the other end of the age continuum, he provides assessment and treatment recommendations for the aging population when there are concerns regarding memory loss and the ability to maintain independence. Dr. Watson is a Cogmed qualified coach and enjoys using this tool to help clients achieve behavioral change through improved working memory.
Stacey Watson holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She has spent the past several years specializing in the treatment of adolescents. In addition to providing services at our office, Ms. Watson works with college-age students as the Access and Disabilities Services Coordinator at Harper College. Ms. Watson is a former special education teacher, and uses this experience as an advocate for families of children with special needs who are unsure of their rights within the school system.
Ben Gesing holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology and will earn his doctorate upon the completion of his dissertation. Ben has several years of extensive training and experience in neuropsychological assessment, personality assessment, and psychotherapy. His training has focused primarily on the diagnosis and treatment of childhood/adolescent and geriatric disorders. He is a Cogmed qualified coach and enjoys using this tool to help clients achieve behavioral change through improved working memory. In addition to providing services at our office, Ben also works at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Heath Hospital as a clinical liaison working with school-aged patients to help facilitate a successful transition from the hospital back into their home schools.
Tim Ervin holds a master’s degree in counseling and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. He will earn his doctorate in adult education upon the completion of his dissertation. Mr. Ervin has spent the past fifteen years specializing in the treatment of adults in transition (life transitions including marriage, couples issues, divorce, career changes and parenthood). In addition to providing services at our office, Mr. Ervin works at Harper College assisting students prepare for degree completion and career planning.
Dr. Laura Monti is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with extensive experience as a clinician, researcher, and professor. She holds doctoral degrees in both Cognitive Psychology and Clinical Psychology. Dr. Monti is a former Assistant Professor in Neurology and Social Sciences at Rush University. She has served as the principal investigator on grant projects through both the NIMH and the Alzheimer’s Association. She has also authored many peer reviewed articles and presentations on memory and aging. Currently, Dr. Monti provides neuropsychological assessment and treatment recommendations for the aging population when there are concerns regarding memory loss and the ability to maintain independence.
